Yes, folks! The Brooklyn Flea has come to the Williamsburg waterfront this year, and is a treasure trove of good finds. In addition to vintage shops and handmade jewelry, clothing, and furniture booths, you’ll find a plethora of baked goods (I highly recommend Dough–an artisan donut joint that offers the likes of hibiscus, blood orange, and Earl Gray tea flavored fried goodness), and many Brooklyn-based restaurants (Mile End and Red Hook Lobster Pound are among my faves). I’ve been dragging my poor husband there every free Sunday we’ve had since April, and there is no end in sight (sorry, babe!). These photos were taken on our first visit there back in April, and barely scratch the surface of what you can find. You’ll have to come check it out for yourself!
Love these blocks and this pink phone!
Boots, belts, and boxes galore!
Fine & Raw Chocolate, made just around the corner in Williamsburg.
You can even pick up your very own beer-making kit.
Freshly carved proscuitto.
Pizza Moto (with a mobile wood-fired pizza oven) makes a winning pie.
Hot Blondies!
Next on my list of Williamsburg things to check out–Smorgasburg. It promises to be an “all-food bonanza” that boasts over 100 food vendors as well as 15-20 farmers for the greenmarket component.
